NAACP Head Explains Alt-Right, KKK, Police Shootings, Trump vs. Illegals...
At least 61 law enforcement officers have been shot and killed this year -- well ahead of last year's 12-month total, according to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.
The most recent shooting happened in Detroit. Wayne State University police Officer Collin Rose was shot November 22 when he tried to stop someone near the university's campus. The 2016 shootings have spanned the nation from California to Massachusetts. This year has been the deadliest since 2011 when 73 officers were shot dead.
Minister Paulette Simpson-Gipson, President of the NAACP's Compton chapter, joins Jesse Lee Peterson on TheFallenState TV to debate the cause of increased tensions between Black Lives Matter supporters and police. Ms. Gipson also discusses her views on "systemic racism," the KKK, Alt-Right, false Christianity, and why she and the NAACP oppose President-elect Donald Trump's plan to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
